Dean House Basement

photo of basement

Concrete floor was pored on Nov. 3rd thanks to Dane Co. Cultural Affairs grant supported by the Overture Foundation.

Bob Bean, Gary Hess and Bob Bosman spent many hours cleaning out the basement in preparation for the new floor. First Litchfeld Plumbing came in to inspect and clean out the pipelines under the floor and install new drains. Then the floor was leveled and more than 30 buckets of extra dirt were hauled out. The workshop area in the basement was reorganized with the old golf course lockers installed for extra storage.

Everything was in ready when Forbes Construction and Masonry came on Friday Nov, 3rd with their cement truck and poured the new floor. Over the winter the interior of the south wall will be tuckpointed and new displays of agricultural equipment will be installed.
