About the Historic Blooming Grove Historical Society
 

 

The Historic Blooming Grove Historical Society preserves and advances the culture and history of Blooming Grove, Monona and Southeastern Madison--all of which was, historically, in the Township of Blooming Grove.

The Victorian furnished Dean House, has been restored, furnished, preserved and is managed by HBGHS as a center for local history research and a testament to the pioneer spirit that brought people to Blooming Grove Townsip in Dane County Wisconsin.

The Historic Blooming Grove Historical Society is funded by memberships and contributions. There is no fee for any of the society's public events, but donations are encouraged during each event.
